Environmental artist Zach Pine's annual Create-With-Nature Earth Day Celebration is a hands-on collaborative outdoor-art event that includes sculpture, drawings, dance, and music. The highlight of the gathering: his enthusiastic demonstrations of how to make sand globes, aka sand balls, using a counter-intuitive tossing technique Pine developed himself and calls "sphere-a-sizing."
