Kalamazoo No Child Left Inside Initiative
The Kalamazoo No Child Left Inside Initiative is the result of being selected by the Children & Nature Network and to receive support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation as one of three Michigan communities to design, facilitate and implement a community-based process for improving the lives of vulnerable children. The ultimate goal was to create a community action plan to involve leaders in the Kalamazoo community in creating happier, healthier and smarter kids through direct connection with the outdoors in their everyday lives.
